Seed to Bouquet

Formerly know as Tupelo Farms, Forever Flower Farm was established in 2024 in Urbanna, Virginia, growing out of 7 acres and providing to local florist and farmers markets. At the Forever Flower Farm, we take care to buy high quality seeds from reliable seed producers, or we collect our own seeds from flower species grown at the Forever Flower Farm. We grow annual and perennial species thus allowing beauty and diversity in our products. Like any farm, whether vegetable or flower, much work and attention has to be taken for the health, growth and end product. At the the Forever Flower Farm we try to ensure we use ecologically sound decisions for our plants to keep them disease and pest free so that the bouquets you purchase are of the highest quality with regards to appearance and vase life.

We have taken care to include native species in our flowers as there are many native species that are excellent for arrangements. This also supports local ecosystems by providing habitat for pollinators, reduces your carbon footprint by sourcing locally, offers a unique regional aesthetic, and often results in lower maintenance and cost-effective flowers that still have great vase life. 

The Butterfly is a flying flower

Forever Flower Farm is always sure to allow certain flower species, which are food plants for native moths and butterflies, are given their own growing spaces, free of any pesticide as a policy of the “give back to nature” approach we use at the Forever Flower Farm. For example the late summer 2025 Virginia state butterfly count the Forever Flower Farm had one of the highest, over 20 species, found here. We there will in 2026 and beyond arranging specific native plants, used in floral products, to include on our property space set aside to have as larval food and nectar sources for our native populations.

  • After you purchase flowers or receive flowers, don’t leave your flowers in the car without water for long periods of time, once home, recut the tips of the stems and place them in water. Recut stems and change water in your vase every 2-3 days, also pull out any spent flowers. Try to keep your vase out of sunny spots in your home. This will make your arrangement last much longer than expected.
